Theres a really good chance you popped the fuse. Just use a DVOM and check voltage on both sides of the fuse. You should see source voltage with the key in the run position.

so the fuse is fine but when i unplug the harness to the alt, the car rust.... Ps this is in colt....

i ment runs not rust

but the harness that plugs into the alternator, when i unplug that the car runs fine
but when i plug it in the car only relies on the starter to run and when u let off the key it dies...
i also went and found the fuse in the colt... im never doing a motor swap again... this swap gives me a new problem every day since i got it running

It sounds like the alternator is interrupting power to/from the battery instead of charging. I don't know how you have your started rigged, but if it's direct to battery this would make sense.

the starter wire is ran to the black and yellow wire on the relay in the car.

and when i mean by it popped... i was tightening the power wire with a wrench and it touched the headers and sparked.... but its the plastic harness with 2 wires that is screwing with it....

edit: there are also 2 wires that i have no idea where they go, ones black with no end and the other is black with a cylinder female end....

no one knows what those wires are to?

the one that is black with no end needs to be hooked up to the ground on the alternator IIRC. I could be wrong though. Maybe post a picture of the wire with no connector? And the other wire with the female connector leads up to the powersteering pump. You'll see the male end sticking out of the pump under the banjo fitting on top.

hope that helps.
