the problem is.. i have the black leather 99 seats.. and plus i dont want to lose more space in the back for passengers.. and i have the 4G seats for free.. i just dont want to waste time and money fabbing them to fit, to just not want it..
i know its a old thread but anyone with photos from outside of the car - in.. would be nice..

Looks like it sits higher then the stockers. And to me it's already high enough. I like the low-ness of the honda del sol seats!

The drivers seat actually sits about 2" lower while the passenger is a little higher right now but am planning on redoing the bracket because it bounces a little bit

I can go out and snap some real quick...

did the leg room in the back get worse?

Are they comfortable would you recommend them?

Leg room is actually about the same. But they seem less bulky as the power stocker I took out, which gives me some weight reduction. There is about 3" between the front/rear seats in my normal position. They are extremely confortable and highly recommend them :thumb:

Here are a few more pics as requested...

yeah i did the same. installed 4g seats into my 2g. they look good and its looks stock looking. like mentioned driver side pretty much bolts on except rear bracket. but the passenger side i had to fab up a new bracket. And for the rear seat i just got the same colour seat covers for the 4g and they fit pretty good on the stock 2g seats.
will post pics when i get a chance.

thread bump! not really but kinda....put some 4g seats in my car. they came from a wrecked 2008 eclipse with only 1200 miles on it. picked em up for hella cheap :rocks:
the drivers seat is almost a near bolt in besides the rear brackets needing fabbed up. the passenger seat was a major pita and had to completely fabricate the brackets. looks  all said and done though :D

i will most likely mimic the seats with the door fabric next

note: don't forget to replace the seat belt stock female side if keeping the stock seatbelts

note #2: ignore the fugly shift boot that's temporary

Sorry very old topic but are these seats lighter than current seats??

Thread revival... I’m working on installing a set of 4g seats now. I have all the center console and carpet ripped out and I’m not confident I’ll be able to push the seat over far enough to center the seating position with the steering wheel. I’m curious if anyone else has done this and how the final alignment is.
Thanks!

Does anybody have pics of what the brackets look like?

I made a bracket for the drivers seat and I’m unhappy with what I built. So I’ve ordered planted seat brackets. I took the feet off the rails and plan to mount the rails directly to the planted brackets. My welds are ugly and I realized when I put it in the car for the first time that the outboard mounts sit like an inch lower than the in order mounts.
