Some 95's don't need them, I have seen a few that still needed them. Either way, a 12:1 FMU puts a ton of strain on your fuel system, your talking about over 100psi of fuel pressure, IMO you should invest in a SFMU at least.

Vortech SFMU, IMO, There are no others. What you have pictured is a BEGI, i think, go with with Vortech SFMU.

I think your right on the BEGI Billet FMU! What you need to look at is this FMU is adjustable so you need to make sure that you are running the right fuel to air for your setup. Also I think the Vortech SMFU is only adjustable between 7:1, 5:1, 3.25:1 and 2.5:1 so if it was me I would just go with the tried and true Vortech 12:1 FMU. But you really need to figure out your fuel issues.

The Vortech Super-FMU is the way to go if your going to stick with an FMU. They also make a bleeder screw for more "fine tuning" with the SFMU.
 
i found a AEM Fuel/ ignition controller would that be good? its new and pretty cheap.
 
I think they where having trouble with our crank signal last time I checked. They may have an update for that since I last checked though. Its something worth checking into.
 
okay i'll check it out, its only $240 thats why. anybody have a diagram of BEGI fuel set up i blanked out setting it up. only going to run it for two weeks and switching to an sfmu
 
I have it up and running, it feels a little weird maybe cause it's new engine but I'm taking it easy.

well if i was to build something stronger does anybody know where i can get a built bottom or do these piston do the job

these are not forged... i wish you all the luck in the world though. your car is beautiful, would be a shame after dumping all that money into it to see her not drivable. haha i wish mine was black kinda in the same boat as you, only i dumped 10 grand into my whole build haha at least i know mine will last for 80k miles *knocks on wood*
 
If I could go back I would build it with better internals and boost 20psi daily but money was a problem and I needed my car back on the road. So far 10k on the engine and I haven't had problems. Hopefully I don't get any problems.
