Resolved 420a transmission on a 4g64?

Don’t know if this has been asked before but I recently blew the transmission in my 1999 Spyder GS and was wondering if it is possible to put a transmission from a 99 coupe GS onto my car?

It is not. The 420A is a Chrysler engine whereas the 4G64 is not. Therefore there is almost zero interchangeability.

Yep, look for a Mitsubishi transmission. Although the 2G Eclipse 420A is still a Mitsubishi, most of the drivetrain is Mopar equipment.
