420a tranny vin number

some jack off took the engine out of my friends rs and we think he swapped the tranny with another one (a blown one) its a manual tranny can you tell me where the vin number is on it?

Do you mean the trannys part number? If so our transmission are nvt-350s

You do not have a unique number (like a VIN number) printed on your transmission.
