2G 420a NVT350 manual transmission fluid? ATF 4?

So I'm changing the fluid on my rebuilt NVT 350. The manual transmission that comes on the 420a, and I don't know what fluid to use. I see everywhere on the internet use ATF +4 and that works like magic but in some places I hear it destroys the transmission. I need an honest answer on what fluid to use. I was using before I took my tranny out just some Lucas gear oil from autozone. Anyone who uses this ATF 4 stuff help me out here haha

NO!! ATF+4 is ONLY for automatic transmissions, not manuals. You need gear oil.
