420a battery tie down vs. 4g63

Guys im stuck im missing my tie down for my battery and the one for the 420a does not exist. I went on ebay and found some for the 4g63 and they look the same.So my question is would it work for my car if i get it?According to Satan it should but u know how they are...

Technically it should work,but you may or may not have to cut down the 4g63 one. The end with the loop/bend on it is close to 2 inches longer than it is on the 420a models.

Like previous stated I'd check out a junk yard. Plenty of 420a models there when I tend to go.

I have the stock 420A battery tie down, it's a bit rusty but not beyond restoring. I'll sell it to you, PM me if interested.

go to autozone and buy a universal one. that's what i did, works fine.
