Could someone give me the measurements of their tie down for their turbo motor. I recently bought one and not sure if its the right on. When I bolt it to the shock tower it is about an inch short of reaching the other side. Basically im needing the total length, length of the stem (part that bolts to shock tower), and the width.

Yea no way its fitting. But I did notice when I did what you told me to is that it seems like the battery might be sitting a little too low. Ive heard that optimas sometimes they sit low. ( And sorry i didnt mention i had a red top before. I thought i had until i just went back and reread it).

The Optima red tops should come with a spacer of sorts. See below:

I used this under the battery. To help keep it more secure, I added some washers on the tire-down. I also used some spare vacuum line as under the metal bracket to prevent the battery from moving around. Ensure the bracket is centered so both sides hold down the battery. This has worked well for me.

I have a yellow top and it came with this, I don't really know how I'd use it.

I also have the OEM plastic trap that inserts into the metal battery trap. I have the optima sitting in that right now, should I take it out? Does the J bolt insert into the hole on the side of the metal battery tray? I bought this all from miller imports, since my car never came with it.

This view is from the passenger side. I am not familiar with the accessories that came with your battery. The yellow ones I have seen come with one identical to the one I posted, with the exception being color.
