$42 for coilovers?

I see theese coilovers all over on ebay. I was wondering if anyone had ever boughten anything like this. These have got to suck hardcore right?

Hey....
Okay heres the deal. I have a set of R1 coilovers sitting in my room that were going to be placed on an s13. Thoese """x3"""" are a rip from the R1.
If you want coilovers real bad id say ground controle or some really exp. dammper kits. (waayyyyy expensive.)

if u have a 1g i suggest koni yellows with prokit springs

Go to the eBay page using the first of the two links that were posted by the thread-starter. Scroll down to the default big picture. Stare at it for a while.

They have actually included a picture of their own coilovers assembled incorrectly. This should tell you a little bit about the people that are selling them. This, in turn, might tell you a little bit about the quality of the things that they sell.

I had r1's on mine, which as was stated before is basically the same thing. THey were the worst springs every, there was about 3/4ths of an inch of suspension travel before the springs would coilbind and they were a 500lb. rate in the front. You will feel every pothole in the road and a big bang to go along with it. I got Sprint springs now and they are great, no sagging or crappy ride. Rides like stock. SPend some money and get a decent suspension setup, i.e. good springs (or one piece coilovers), struts, camber kits, the works. If you don't you and your tires will wish you would have.
