So I'm working on putting in new shocks and coilovers, I have the rear already done, the problem I'm having is with the front. I dunno how to explain this but, the part on the shock where the spring sets, how its kinda angled, well the coilovers on the back were cut to fit the angle but the front ones are not, are these the right coilovers?

Here is a pic of the front ones to show how I mean, they do not fit well on there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh, dear. This wasn't a joke.

You have to take the perch off the shock before you put the sleeve on.

Heh, I figured it out soon enough, anyways all I was forgetting was to slide on one of the steel rings before the coilover, I ended up not touching the shock perches at all.

The rears didn't require this as they were cut to fit the shocks perches, and I completely missed the fact that there were 2 more steel rings with the fronts, I finally figured it out after going through the directions again.

hows the ride. I'm interested in the same setup , but cant figure out either gc-sport or gc-pro. What did you use ? I want a decent ride something that takes the potholes well. I hate pothole. Iam thinking about just going with the tokicko suspension kit , it comes with 4 illuminas and the springs, lowers 1.7", but no adjustability. Anyhow if you or anyone can help me out please do.
thanks , and let us know how you like your new suspension.

Heh, well it's stiff, I haven't driven it much but I right now I have the illuminas set to the middle setting. So far I'm loving it, I noticed that it does ride worse, I can feel every little bump and when I go down rough roads kinda fast it can throw ya around a bit. I'll post more later, I'm not driving much because I want to make sure that I'm not bottoming out the shocks and I need to get an allignment.
