1G 41 Injector Circuit Malfunction

Just got this code last week, I haven’t driven the car in a long time. I put a screwdriver up and listened and all of the injectors were pulsing. I’ve been messing with fuel here and there and was away from my car for 7 months so not 100% sure what I was sitting at before.

I have a 92 ECU in a 90 but did the wiring technique to convert the 92 resistor, and I did recently rip one of those wires out and had to re solder it. That’s the only thing that I’ve done that I can see messing with it.

Also put some injector cleaner in the tank to be safe but no change

I'm pretty up on what needs to happen when you mix 90 and 91+ cars and ECUs but I've never heard of converting a resistor in that regard. Could you explain.

Fault code 41 usually means there is/was an electrical issue with the injector wiring. I had it once with my original injectors and it was one of them going intermittent when the injector heated up but I haven't heard of 750cc injectors doing that like the stock ones have.

Are all your injector clips secured with their wire locks?

They are not clipped in, but it is not an intermittent issue and I heard them firing while the code was present. And my bad I meant transistor, been away for a minute.

Little update to make things weirder.

Thought it could be the 109 pin in my ECU because I accidentally ripped it out a month or so ago, so pulled the pin and was just going to put the wire directly in. Broke the pin trying to do it and got a new one on the way, but to confirm my hypothesis I started the car without that pin connected.

Car was running rich at about 10:1 AFR, let it warm up and it eventually settled at 12:1 but the code never came back up. I doubt it’s going to be permanent but we’ll see.

I also put injector cleaner in the tank with the car not being ran for a while, but my impression is that code is purely electrical. I’ll update after the new terminal gets here and I get it properly put in

Fault 44 is usually what you get when pin 109 isn't getting a signal from the PTU (91+) or Tach Gate (90). It's been a long time since I looked so I don't remember all the specific trigger parameters for the various faults anymore
