I recently picked one of these up and am well into the swap. I am using the whole dsm subframe all hacked up and figured out a way to make it all work so i will be full 1g talon width with 1g stock axles. Lots of fab work. There was no possible way the dsm engine/trans was going to fit in the smart subframe i have no idea how this guy did it.

Took it to the dump yesterday to weigh it. 1950 lbs Hotpiped no intercooler yet. And no passenger seat either And there isnt much i can do to lighten it up. Will be 2000 for sure. Which is insane heavy considering how small it is.
