Hey guys like the title saids Im looking for 350-400 whp or as close as I can get to that on pump gas I was thinking of getting the Complete 2G Solution kit from turbochargers.com wich looks pretty good and good price, plus some injectors to allong with that if I decide to get the evo big 16g plus my current mods (mod list on profile) will this get me to the whp Im looking for or do I have to go with a bigger turbo, o by the way Its a street car so I want quick spooling and good power, what else would I need to get me to the 375-400 mark is it possible with a stock motor or do I have to change internals, what size injectors would I need thanks for the help in advance :dsm: :D
 
Well, for one, recirc you BOV!!!!!!!!! Also, I'd say go with a BB 50 Trim variant for your goals. Your mod list is pretty good so far. Honestly, If I were you, here is exactly what I would do in this order:

DSMLink (Sell SAFC)
Injectors (650cc or better)
and a decent turbo

The Evo3 16g will get you above the 300whp mark, and further with race gas
 
Yes it can be done, but if you can do it will depend on what all bolt ons you get & how much boost you run. If you just buy that kit & add all the required bolt ons you probably won't make your goal, you need to increse the VE of the motor as well, add a set of cams, a SMIM etc and a good tune & you should hit your goal being fwd. If you want to make your goal easier go with something slightly larger such as a 20g or 50 trim.
 
350-400whp on an EVO III 16G turbo on pump gas on a stock block/head/no cams, is not going to happen.

With cams, race gas and a very good tune, 350whp on an EVO III 16G GST is possible.

If you want that much power on pump gas, get a 50trim or bigger turbo. PTEs Dual Ball Bearing turbos will give you similar spool up to an Evo III with more power.

There is a meber on here with a GVR4 he made 412whp with a EVO3 16. 272 cams are a must to achive upper 300hp to 400hp. You will need a very good tune also, but its possable to do.

One thing you might want to look into is using a external waste gate with the EVO3, this is what im doing. Ive also bumped my compresson up to 9.1

With a front mount, Cams and a ex gate for better boost control im sure you will see over 350whp.

you need to def consider something bigger then an evo3. most ppl are not expert tuners, so your timing and airflow is never going to be perfect for you to hit 350-400 whp. you could have a 50 trim and hit that decently easy on decent boost. i have an evo3 with cams and make about 310 to 335 whp.
 
I've seen a 14b put down 319 awhp on a 1g with a stock block, head, cams, and intake manifold. This did have a couple gallons of c16 mixed with 93 and on 25 psi. It can be doen but a bigger turbo would make it alot easier.
 
To many people are have forgoten about how fast big/EVO16g cars can be and are to quick to say bigger.

Next turbo im going to get insnt going to be some 50trim, fullT3 along the lines of a T67 or a very large FP turbo.

Im not impressed with 50trims, seeing that the 16G has put down the same and faster 1/4mile times.

But its harder to do it with a 16g, and easyer with a 50trim etc

It has alot to do with drive skill and a reallly well tuned car.....
 
Evo16g is not good enough for 350WHP, I'm not saying it cant happen, but its hard as hell....I have all possible mods for evo16g, hours of tunnig and i barely passed 350whp with 101 octane, it was hard man (god bless DSMLINK and timing adjustment).... 91 i dont think so :nono: ..... Get you self nice big turbo that barely can fit under your hood... something like fp3065( i wanna get this one too) I heard good stuff about this turbo. Yea man i like 16g but I always want more and you will too trust me..... Get bigger turbo and lower you boost for 91 octane or 93 , when you get some racing gas turnup the boost....

Now, I would like to see 360whp on my car all the time but i gotta get 101 first ($6 a gallon) WTF , to expencive man...
 
I want more topend also, but im waiting till I have cash to do a good setup. I like FPs turbos alot, next year ill have somthing big and nice. Money is holding me back from doing it.
