i was reading a post on one of my hometown car websites, and a guy claimed that you would get about 300 hp with an n1 downpipe, walbro fuel pump, and an mbc. is this true?

Yes, but it wont last. Here's what you do: Use that jcie MBC to crank the boost WAY up, and then you'll get 300whp, and thena blown engine

In the article in import tuner, the car had some mods done before hand, and adding these four mods actually did add about 30hp each. if I recall, the boost wasn't terribly unreasonable, either. 18psi on a 14b, wasn't it?

I don't remember it being modified already. Sorry but I do remember them uping the boost on the car so I think 300hp isn't a lie if they up boost and modified it.

But that is on a strong running car I would assume.
