i was wondering if what basic mods could i get here with (roughly)
would a small 16g be enough with supporting mods of course.

and since my car is fwd would traction be a big problem at 300+ hp?

im sure you can get 300 hp out of a small 16g with a really good tune, fuel ect. and since your car is fwd yeah you will have traction problems unless its an auto but some good tires should do the work like DR.

On 91 octane a real good tune and full supporting mods should get you right around 300 whp with a small 16G but that will be maxing out the turbo.

I would recommend DSMlink to tune with as it would be much harder with an AFC. You will need injectors, a 190 fuel pump, Intake, exhaust, either a front mount or meth injection, and a nice set of cams would make it a lot easier. Plus all the other basic mods that are in the upgrade path.

If you are going to use e85 or race gas then 300 will be a lot easier to obtain with that turbo as well.

You will need a good tune. And yes it can be done. As far as traction goes, you are going to need some nice tires. I am probably up around 330 whp, and I have no 1st, 2nd, and part of 3rd gear. So to answer your question, yes traction at that power level will be a problem unless you plan on rolling around on slicks. LOL.
