3" or 2.5" intercooler piping????

I am currently running 3" intercooler piping and am thinking about switching the piping from the intercooler to the TB to 2.5 inch.... I would do this for the idea of increased velocity, what do you guys think about this threory to make more power????

man, 3 inches is HUGE for intercooler piping. Id step it down to 2.5

i would leave it.

i could go into details, but the gain(if any) to do 2.5" from 3" wouldnt be worth the hassle nor the money.
