3" GM MAF on a 1G with 2G MAS?

ok, im tryin to figure out how to set this all up. i want a FMIC, and i wanna vent a Turbo XS RFL to the atmosphere. now its my understanding that i could use a 3" GM maf and translator to make it work. but i also wanna use a 2G mas. i have a couple questions now. . .
i see that dejon tool, you can buy an intake pipe that holds the 1G mas with a blow thru, or one with just a 2G mas.could i buy an intake pipe somewhere that will hold the 2G mas and 3" maf?
is it possible to just cut my upper FMIC pipe and put the 3" maf on it and just buy the intake pipe that will put the 2G mas on my 1G?
do i even need a 2G mas if i have the 3" maf, or could i just use the 2G mas w/o the maf and still vent to the atmosphere?
is there something else im over looking totally that i could just buy like just datalogging or SAFC that will tune it without the 3" maf and translator?
is there something that someone could explain that would just make it easier on me?

YOu don't need the 2g MAS if your going wiht the MAFT.

If you have the translator you don't need a factory MAS. You get to run a nice little intake pipe right off the turbo with no MAS in it if you use the MAF in blowthrough. The MAFT also lets you do a little bit of tuning with the box - it has like 4 knobs for idle, mid, WOT, and global mixture. A SAFC helps you fine tune it though and is recomended.

Just get a the gm maf and translator and you do not need a 2g mas or anything, And depending on where you put the gm maf then you could vent to the atmosphere.

well i wanna vent so its gonna go between the BOV and the TB elbow. if i dont get a FMIC from dejon tool with a blow thru in the upper pipe, ill just buy the uicp for my side mount with a blow thru. ill probably get the 2G mas anyways, cause my 1G mas is lookin pretty ratty. plus i think the 2G mas looks pretty clean, IMO anyways. thanx for all the help guys

Do you even know what a MAS does? Yes, the same things as a GM MAF. You replace the stock MAS with the hotwire GM MAF so you still get accurate air readings post-bov mounting (blow through).

So far, you haven't shown that you really understand what you are doing and if not, screwing around with a Translator could result in some serious engine damage. Just a warning.

I agree. If you want to also get a 2g mas because it looks *pretty*, You do not know what you are doing. You ARE going to have a maf, It's the 3" gm one. And the translator of course. If you do not know what you are doing, You should not even try to dial in the translator.
