This may seem like a weird question but here it goes.
I recently bought my car from a kid who really did a hack job. I was nieve and didn't know what to look for, but now that I know alot more about how turbo cars work, I am appalled. Anywayz, long story short, kid sold me a car with essential parts missing, such as BOV and BCS. I want to go with a blow-through setup and get an UICP with an opening for the GM MAF.
I ordered a GM MAF already from someone on here, and will be ordering an UICP from DejonTool. I plan on ordering the one with the short route piping for the Big FMIC. UIP-1gC.
Right now, I'm a little strapped for cash as I have been buying different things for the car. Is it possible to run the GM MAF inline with the UICP and simply not hook it up. I would keep the stock mas on the car for now until I could pony up 300 for MAFT GenII + cables.
Thanks alot guys. This forum is awesome
