Does anyone know if the spline count is different between 3 bolt and 4 bolt axle cups? Or better yet, can I use a trailing arm off a 91, unbolt the axle cup, Bolt up my 4 bolt cup and use it under my 92?

Mike's correct. The rear hubs and their spline counts are identical between the 3 and 4 bolt cars. The axle cups are interchangeable but specific to the type of axle for obvious reasons.

If your swapping trailing arms keep in mind any ABS issues since the rear ABS sensor is inside the trailing arm attached to the hub.
