Automatic 4-bolt rear question

I was wondering if someone could tell me if this is specific to auto only cars. Does it have any value at all for a early 3-bolt rear manual car to convert to the 4-bolt. Thanks

There are 3 and 4 bolt rear diffs for both auto and manual cars. You can't swap an auto for a manual or vice versa because the gear ratios are different. So if you want to do a 4 bolt swap you need one from either an auto or from a manual depending on what trans you have.
