4 bolt rear end w/ 3 bolt internals?

I bought a 92 plymouth laser AWD. The rear end is locking up in it and making thumping noises going down the road. Well the only diff i found was a 90 3 bolt. I was dumb and bought it not thinking about the fact that it was a 3 bolt and would not fit. So my question is can I swap internals for the rear end?

no,the 3bolt splins and shaft are smaller than the 4bolt.some one will chime in
with more info.

right i noticed that. but i think it spider gears is what the problem is in the 4 bolt. Can I swap those out. And if so can someone maybe give me a walkthrough?
