4 bolt rear end?

hey guys, quick question. is the attached image a 4 bolt rear end...the good one that is valued on most 1g dsms?

Got a picture of the axles? If the axles have 4 bolts that attach to the companion flange (the flange that mounts to the wheel hub) then it's a 4-bolt

wait, so if i find a used car and am trying to determine whether or not its "4 bolt" ... all i have to do is look where the axles mount into the differential? the rear end, correct? this 'companion flange' ?

don't think it's possible to tell from the pic of the rear diff

oooooo, great pictures. thanks! so all i have to do when inspecting a used car is look at the base of the CV to tell if its 4 bolt or 3 ?

Right.

Where the drive axles come out of the rear differential, and BOLT up to the axle hub for the wheel, is either 3 or 4 bolts.

check the door jam to see if its got LSD too.
typically cars with ABS donot have lsd.

What I don't know, is there a 4 bolt setup out there that is also lsd? if so what year is this setup off of?
