I did a quick pull in 2nd gear. The A/F ratio is pretty safe but I still end up getting knock. I can't really figure it out. Can someone give me a hand? This was on 91 and dual methanol nozzles m12 and m7 at the throttle body. Could this be rich knock?

The second log has a bit more fuel taken out. But it still knocks.

Thank you

My car hated anything more than 5* timing advance on 91 octane, I understand your running meth but every cars different. Try pulling timing using the sliders instead of playing with fuel stuff for now, theres no reason why that should be knocking like that from too much fuel.

Just copy the numbers below and go to your timing table, right click the table and select paste table...

Do another pull and don't stay in the throttle if your CEL flashes at all, back off it and post the log.

Thanks Corey for the response. I will give that a try, I was also throwing around the idea that my externally dumped wastegate could be setting the knock sensor off. So I will play with the position of the dump tube to see if that helps.

under ecu ,check the knock setting i had the tps set @2% so i changed it to a higher value and knock is gone .don,t know if it will work for you but you can give it a try.

Well its happening under wot throttle, so I don't want to set it that high to ignore the knock sensor. Doesn't sound very safe to do that, and I'd rather have the knock sensor do its job.

Your welcome, hopefully that gets you started in the right direction. It doesn't seem likely a external wg dump could set off your knock sensor like that but I guess anythings possible! While your elbow deep in your engine bay you might want to reach around the back of the block and make sure the knock sensor hasn't come loose a bit or burnt up and gone bad, 17ft-lbs is the torque spec for it if you you can get a wrench on it.
