So I’ve almost got the Talon all cobbled together, but I found this one plug and couldn’t find the other side of it. After looking at the Eclipse several times, I’ve come to conclude that this mess of a wire splice must be bypassing something, but I’m not entirely sure what the green wire goes to nor what is being bypassed. Anyone know what it is and what’s the right way to have it hooked up?

The plug looks like it is for the knock sensor. The knock sensor should be fastened to the back of the block under the IM. The other end is in the harness.

Possibly the cut wires laying on the VC but hard to see the wire colors coming outta the harness.

If the wires on the VC are like a green wire with sheathing on it then those are it.

You need a better picture of the messed up wires cleaned up and the leg of the harness it comes off of to make sure. The other is the knock sensor harness directly off of it like stated above.

So, just to follow up, yea, it was the knock sensor wires into the harness - I was confused because it had a green and black wire going in one side and a black and a white wire coming out the other. Stole the wire off the GSX that's going to be getting a major overhaul and saw that the green insulation covers some shielding and then there's a white wire running down the middle of it. so that was fun to try and solder.
