Here is my problem guys, I had a v1 aem ems for 2g. Found a deal on a 1g aem v2 for a killer deal. Made a patch harness and everything is running good. But I can't get the idle right. But before I go on I have a evo 9 tb and iac. With my old aem it idle perfect with ac. Now I can't even get the car to idle without giving it throttle. I know that there is a idle switch on 1g's and 2g ' s. Why is this now a problem? Thanks for any info guys. Is there anyway around the idle switch for this throttle body and iac?

Is there a way to simulate idle switch like on dsmlink?

Sorry, I figured it out. On a 1g the idle steps for 1 and 2 are controlled by step 3 and 4. 3 and 4 are controlled by 1 and 2. I wired it up the way you would think 1 and 2 to 1 and 2. But it's actually 1 and 2 to 3 and 4. If you're trying to wire into a 2g.

Also another issue I figured out, is main relay control. On a 1g AEM EMS you need to change the coil 7 to coil 5 for main relay control. If used in a 2g. Besides that everything else is wired pretty much straight up to the 1g AEM. Just install a 2g tune and then start tuning.
