my car has the Immobilizer enabled..i can turn everything on but it wont crank over... How do i turn it offf??????? i cant find the Valet button under the dash and i need this car for work in 2 days! i dont have a dealership around here and no local shops know how to do it!

spyders do not have what you are looking for. do what they say and unplug the battery wait 10 mins than plug it in and start the car. this will reset everything in your car. i had 2 spyders and i crawl between the steering wheel and dash to hook up wires and aint see what you talking about. maybe post a video will help.

This won't help as its,one im going to buy off a friend and had been, siting for a very long time, with no battery. Plus I unhooked the battery I put it in after my first time messing with it. Do it say for a few weeks b4 I worked on it again and reconnected the battery.

see the black/res wire. I didn't have butt connectors at the time see I just twisted the wires together at the time.

You had mentioned earlier that under the center console was a clicking goin crazy. Just a thought, as I have only had manual dsms, but do the autos have a neutral safety switch that could have gone bad, or possibly the gear selector is in the wrong position?

That was the op who has fixed his, car, with a new, starter. Mine doesn't click like, that. Just one, relay under the dash clicks when key is turned to,start position nothing else happens. Starter works fine used a,power, probe to the trigger sire and,it, turns over good. Just doesnt start with key. Oh and when turned to start, position it sends power through the black and red wire.

the neutral sensor is the thing that clicks under the shifter, manuals have it too. i would say, check the relays, make sure theyre not fried and make sure your grounds are ALL GOOD. thats the problem i had, i had a bad ground to the starter so it would start.

The grounds are all good. The starter has its constant voltage too. It just doesnt get power to the trigger wire. Which I believe is black and yellow colored at the starter. If you had power to the trigger with a,power probe or however it turns over. Doesnt start ### fuel pump doesn't work. But will turn over.

Edit: thanks for reminding me about the neutral safety switch though. Forget to check it.

Sorry to bring this back but I'm having the same exact issue and was wondering if you located the problem:hmm:

I'm pretty sure my relay was just stuck. It eventually started working after I had jumped power to the small starter wire.

It would work a few times then not. And eventually started working more and more. Now it just works. So relay was just sticking I'm assuming.

hey man, at first i thought the ground was the problem because when i took it off and put it back on, it worked. but then i realized that when i took the bolt off, i was tapping it with the rachet. try tapping your starter with a wrench. if it starts, go buy a new motor off ebay for $60 because it will soon (within a couple days) get to the point where it will not start no matter how much you hit it or how hard, hope this helps.

btw some people flip over reviving dead threads but don't worry about it, i don't care LOL
