Pardon my complete ignorance but i have a 95 GS-T and i wanted to check if i have an eprom for future reference and i nkow how to check if it is eprom or not, but i have no frigin clue where the ecu is. Under teh dash is what i assume but any details or maybe a picture would be nice
 
Your not the only one who had troubles finding that damned thing. Took me about 30 minutes... Might have been due to the fact that I did it after work, so I was up for about 25 hours... but still!

I'll save you some trouble. If your car was made before November of 95, then yes, you do.

that is not true. my GST was dated on May 95 and it didnt come with an EPROM. not all the 95s have EPROMs. it is very rare that they didnt come with them but there are a select few.

I was wondering the same thing cause I want to check if I have an EPROM. Mine was made March '95 but I know that doesn't really mean anything. Thanks for the pic.

and don't take out the whole console...

just the side pieces...

easiest way to get it out is using a bit and an endwrench to turn it....
also the easiest way to crack the factory seal to get one one open IMO
 
so my E-Brake is high, if ya dont like come and adjust it for me. It looks that way with the center consol out, and i was in the middle of the 5spd swap so thats why its all torn up in there. But other then that, just the left and right side covers needs removed...
