2G vs 1G Power Transistors

Are 1g and 2g power transistors the same except for the mounting bracket? I just finished my 6bolt swap and am not getting spark on cylinder #2 and #3. I tried another coilpack from my buddie's 1g and still no spark on #2 and #3. SO next thing to try would be the power transistor but I want to know if I can just slap my buddies and see if we get spark then? Let me know people!

Correct. They are also the same for ALOT of mitsu's w/ 4G63 (turbo or non) past 1990.

Throw it on and see. And BTW, using the shop manual method to test them is never a good indicator. I had a bad one awhile back and it still trsted the same at the good one.
