hi im having trouble locating my ECU on my 1990 lasor rs turbo ....i want to check for leaking caps or problems and dont know where it is...

also i wantedf to perform the power transistor test and do not know where that is located....pictures? or links?...thanks

ECU is in the dashboard, directly behind the radio (it's gold colored). Remove both the cloth inserts below the shifter on the driver and passenger side and you'll see it. It's got 4 bolts, 2 on each side, holding it in. If you take off the ground cable for the harness on the passenger side it'll give you more slack to undo the harness. While you're looking for leaking caps, you might want to see if you have a EPROM ECU as well, provided no one has swapped it out for a non-EPROM unit.
