2G 2G transmission differences

Okay can a transmission from a 1997 GST 4g63 fit a 1999 GS 4g64 engine? I pulled my 4g64 I've got a guy wanting to buy the engine but his shell was a 4g63 and he has the transmission from it. HELP I'M KIND OF NEW WITH THIS STUFF GUYS HELP ME OUT PLEASE

The 4g63 and 4g64 transmission are interchangeable.

to help further clarify, both transmissions will work, but both require different axles. The buyer will need turbo axles to fit the turbo transmission.
