I am confused on what the differences are on our auto DSM transmissions. So I understand Tcases need to match 95-96 transmissions and 97+ need to have the matching 97+ tcases. Is that just a manual trans issue or is it the same for auto's?

How can you determine the year on an auto trans? I bought a used transmission 10 years ago, and I have no recollection on what year it came out of. Im hunting for the last 2 remaining parts I need for the manual to auto conversion. I still need a Tcase and the rear diff. So I just need to make sure im finding the correct matching parts.

Thanks for any help!

Same with autos…. They need to match. I have auto tcase 91-96 and 2G auto LSD diff if need. 2G autos rear diffs are all the same 95-99 as long as you have the right axles LSD or Non LSD

You need to take the front differential out and count the teeth. 91-96 auto case has 72 tooth front ring gear
97-99 have 71 tooth front ring gear

You should get rid of those hoses and clamps. Go an fittings. Amazon has everything you need. You can remove those barbed fittings and replace them with -6 an fittings. M12x1.25 is the thread pitch for the trans fittings.

I have the fitttings(new) and tcase/diff no point just buying the fittings off me but if you buy a diff or tcase all throw the fittings in for free..

Also have other auto parts transmission parts if you need all oem

Yes sir, I have a b&m transcooler I need to make some lines for. That's the plan at least. First things first I need to find the last 2 important parts I'm after.
