I installed a 2g trans in my 1g car. Is there a difference that I should be aware about other then the mounting plate? Is there also a physical difference in the 1g converter from the 2g converter as I installed a 1g converter in my trans before mounting it all up. Do I need to pull it out and install a 2g converter? I'm sure the lockup with the 2g trans only works with the 2g converter correct? Thanks

I believe all a/t's for awd are w4a33, all fwd's are f4a33. I don't know about converters though. I would assume they're different seeing as IPT was selling a 9.5" 1g converter and a 9" 2g. Email John at IPT and see what he has to say.

Well i found out it's not a 2g trans it's actually a 1g trans but it's not from a talon or eclipse. It's a w4a32. Well see how it goes.

On the plymouthlaser site the trans code says galant 2.0 awd auto so I guess it's some jdm shit or something. I'm trying to get a hold of the person i bought it from for more information about it but they said it came out of a 92 auto tsi awd. I was talking with someone about it last night and they said its weaker then the w4a33's but oh well, it's already in. Either it goes or it blows.
