I jut installed my boost gauge b4 I install my manual boost controller, but as soon as I hooked up the gauge and went for a drive the car was boosted just below 15 once it's between 4k-5k it jumps a little to 15psi?

So what's going on it seems like I don't need the controller since it's maxing out my turbo and injectors?

Yeah I know it's not normal but why can cause boost to peak or why's it at 14psi already....

SBC might be messed up?

My old boost gauge used to look like I was getting boost creep. After looking at the vacuum hose going to it I realized it was a piece of shit so I replaced it and now its working fine.

This could be your problem but as other people have said boost spikes do happen but I've never noticed any spiking than the 15 PSI I run on my 14b.
