2g stock exhaust manifold

does anybody know if the stock exhaust manifold on a 1995 eagle talon tsi FWD is a 9 bolt?

They all are. The difference is 1g's were all one size exhaust stud, where 2g's had 2 outer bolts that were, i believe 10mm. You can fit any stock dsm manifold on any mitsu turbo and 4g63 head.

For example, i have a buschur 6bolt in my 92, and i'm using a ported 2g 7bolt manny.

If you're asking if eclipses and talons use the same manny, the question is also yes, it's all the same motor (as long as it's all a similar model). Ie, you couldn't use a manny from a 95 na dsm on a 95 turbo dsm.

really what i want to know is can i bolt the sbr manifold and evo 3 16g turboto my talon. the guy im buying it from says it needs to be a 9 bolt

ANY turbo dsm manifold will bolt to ANY turbo dsm motor. Even if it's the sbr aftermarket cast one, or an evo 3, or the evogt, or even the new HUGE cast tubular FP manny.

Yes it will work. I don't understand what he means by "needs to be 9 bolt". They all are. Unless, he's talking about that ALL bolts need to be the same size. Which would change things a little. Because as i said, 1g's were uniform, 2g's had two outer bolts that were larger. So if the manny was set up for all uniform bolts, it wouldn't just bolt up.

That being said though, i don't think i've ever seen a manifold offered that wasn't universal for all 4g63's. (dsm 4g63 i mean).

EDIT: if i'm wrong, and there was a time when there were specific model manifolds offered, all you'd need to do is drill out the outer bolts to 10mm.
