hey i had my head gasket changed about a month ago by what can only be described as a moron.... and when i got my car back the gasket Leading to the exhaust from the Stock 2g manifold was fried (black and desintigrating off). i opted to change the manifold to exhaust gasket myself because the guy was an idiot.
any way i just finished installing the gasket and in the exact same location as before there is a exhaust leak. the gasket cannot be torqued any more on both sides and on each side near the gasket it is tight however in the middle (between the bolts) i can actually move the gasket slightly up and down.
My question is do you think that the manifold needs to be planed at a machine shop to make the sides equal to the center? and have you ever heard of this problem from a STOCK 2g manifold
your help is appreciated!
