My son's 97 Talon is giving us fits. We cannot manage to get the right gasket for the flange between the exhaust pipe and exhaust manifold. I have been through my federal Mogul book to no avail and Slo"Reilly has ordered four different ones for me. It is a flat gasket with two bolt holes. There is no donut gasket there at all. Anyone have an idea of the manufacturer and part number I should get? The car has the Chrysler 2.0l DOHC motor.
Thanks in advance, Chip.

... Are you looking for the gasket where it bolts to the oxygen sensor housing? If so, here:
http://www.partsamerica.com/productdetail.aspx?MfrCode=BAR&MfrPartNumber=0396330&PartType=97&PTSet=A

Or the oxygen sensor housing to the turbo? If so, here:

Or the Turbo to the manifold? If so, ^^^

Or maybe you are looking for the head to manifold gasket, if so, here:

I had the same problem with a N/T I had. I ended up going to Napa after 3 tries with Autozone. Their books have pictures with dimensions and was able to identify the one I needed from that. They had it for me the next morning.

The Parts America link worked very well. I have called Slo'Reilly and they are interchanging it to something in stock. If they tank it again, I will go to NAPA. I just don't shop our local NAPA store because i used to work there and swore I wouldn't buy anything there after I quit. The store owner was a greedy jerk.
