Warped Stock Exhaust manifold

Is it possible to warp the surface of the exhaust manifold the connects to the head? I cant get it sealed and i keep blowing gaskets. I tighten them to the point of stripping the bolts and still cant get it to seal and i can tell that its not touching the head and sealing it.WTF

i had the same proplem, Solution use two gaskets worked for me, might work for you.

2 gaskets = alot of money. I guess its worth a shot tho. Was it the manifold that was warped? Just curious

is your's the stock manifold? or an aftermarket such as a tubalar manifold?? if aftermarket sometime there not exactly straight so when using two gaskets it seals better, it defenently worked for me and should work for you

hmz.. thats wierd first try, to tightem them starting from the middle out if that doesnt work, try 2 gaskets witch worked for me.. if not you might need a new manifold.

Well its all sealed exceppt the passengers side

Take it to a machine shop and get the flange milled. It shouldn't cost more than a few dollars. Hell, I could do it.
