Now, I did see this thread:

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/app...beau-tenzo-dad-d-d-sparco-bracket-recaro.html

But pertinent info in that thread is practically non-existent.

I see on Sparco's website that they offer seat brackets for 1g's, 3g's and 4g's. Does anyone know if they have an offering for 2g's? I've reached out to the company directly, but have yet to receive a response.

I've already been through hell with custom seat brackets that didn't / don't fit, and I'd really like to find a bolt-in and go set.

I checked the place I had purchased mine from and it looks like they stopped selling them. The part numbers are;

Seat Bases (400SB035L)
Requires Sliders Only
Position : Left

Seat Bases (400SB035R)
Requires Sliders Only
Position : Right

They discontinued them. I had a passenger one for sale a while back that I had never used and man people were all over it. Also had a lot of inquiries for a driver's side, which at the time wasn't for sale as I was using it.

With that said, you generally did NOT want their base brackets if you had a side mount seat. They were shit. Why? They put you WAY too high. Your head alone would be close to the ceiling if you were of reasonable torso length (I think I am and I'm 5'10"). Forget about wearing a helmet because you would be definitely touching.

The sparco seat bases might be better for bottom mount seats as they didn't have to use the cross adapters (that raised the seat mounts up about an 1" from the base) I don't think but I personally never tried one.

I do have the driver's bracket, custom built/modified for side mounts for holding my older Sparco Evo 2 available now as we removed it from my car. While it sits about as low as you can go (noticeably lower than stock for sure), and mounting to stock mounting locations I actually needed lower and further back for my roll cage, and so we custom built another mount and had to cut/weld new rear mounting positions. I couldn't tell you what other seats it will work for though because everything is welded into place (so the sidemounts are the width of the evo 2 seat).

I would strongly suggest rather than trying to find/use the sparco bases you simply have a race fabrication shop fabricate up a seat base for you, perhaps using sparco steel or aluminum sidemounts as raw material if it's a sidemount seat (I have a pair of the steel sidemounts untouched here too if you want them). It's not terribly difficult work for a fab shop, and should cost maybe 2.5 hours of labor. You'll end up with much better fitment, lighter weight if not done stupidly, and generally you'll be much happier :)

Thanks for the confirmation, gentlemen.

I tried both the off-the-shelf and custom approach for the seats I currently have; I'll spare you the details of my nightmare, but suffice to say I'm already out a significant amount of time and money. But now I've got a shiny new set of Summit sport seats sitting in my garage that I'll never use or be able to get rid of. Two sets of modified off-the-shelf brackets and one set of customs and they still sat too high. So the revised plan was just to buy a set of Sparco's with low bolstering and be done with it.

Time is the biggest factor here. Between work and a newborn baby, I have literally none to spare. Money really isn't an object, which is why I was trying to find a bolt-and-go solution. Finding a trustworthy fabricator and syncing schedules where this person could actually have the car, etc... Is a long shot, at best.

Now that I know that Sparco doesn't sell a direct-fit bracket anymore; Are there any other manufacturers (Other than Wedge) that offer an off-the-shelf bracket that will mate with a bottom-mount Sparco seat?
