So I have been using all sorts of dsm forums to help to get my car somewhat back up to par and decided its time to give back. I was looking for ideas as well to give ideas for what I have done to my gsx so far. A little back ground on it, I got it in a trade for my truck and when I got it I was really sketchy about the 20 some odd splice connectors under the dash. It came with a apexi safc, greddy turbo timer, some autometer gauges, a box of extra parts and no turbo. Along with all that the ecu had a major hack job on it that has taken me about 4 days total to finally fix. On a brighter note the guy who had it before me did do a 1g swap and I dont have to worry so much about crank walk. I'm not done with the car yet but should be getting it running this weekend. I have bought a cx racing 16g turbo, i know that it is risky but I'm trying it anyway for temporary use, glowshift wideband, boost, and water temp gauges, new turbo gaskets, a real evo III 02 housing and a few other odd and end things. I plan to get this car up to close to 380 hp to the wheels in the future along with making it my dd and a sleeper. I will post more on this later and some of the things that i have done this weekend as well as pics. Any suggestions of what to post with this is greatly appreciated. Also, can someone help me with what the 2 hose fittings on the front of the 1g thermostat housing are? i know one goes to the turbo feed, but i cant figure out what the other is for.

So I picked up a profec b spec 2 and a bov recirc hose today for 200 and of course when i tried to put it on the turbonetics bov i have and it is too small. I'm going to order a new bov anyway and looking for any suggestions. So far I have the turbo installed for the most part. Me and my buddy had a hell of a time getting it in. The hardest part was the oil return line. Also, if anyone else who reads this decides to get a cxracing 16g turbo do not get their "install kit" with the water line connections. They don't fit exactly all that easy and it's just better off getting a regular kit. I'm using the cxracing kit just because i don't want to spend anymore money. I can already tell dsm's dig the wallet pretty deep. Next weekend I'll be getting a dsm link and the whole ac system so i can put ac back in the car. As far as what i have done this weekend i have only installed the turbo and i finished rewiring the ecu. I just have to reinstall everything. I'm working today on installing the boost controller and putting my interior back together.

The water lines i was talking about are the 2 copper lines.

So i have the car running now and it sounds like a v8 with a bad lope. I have a safc and trying to use it running a 16g with 680cc injectors. Does anyone know where i should set the settings to? I tried to use it and i read up on it before hand and i'm a little lost. Or, if anyone is in the norfolk, va area and knows a thing or 2 about using it would you mind coming by and showing me? LOL. I'm happy i got it running but now i need to get it running right.

So just an update on things so far. I just got my fp exhaust manifold in yesterday and installing it hopefully tomorrow. Found out that my problem wasn't my safc but a ground short in the ecu. I started looking through all the sensors connected to that ground in the ecu and couldnt find anything at first. I got pissed looking for my iPod and happened to look under the drivers side seat under the carpet and found the rear o2 sensor, or what's left of it, just chilling. Wasn't connected to anything except the plug to the ecu. It looked like someone broke the end off and dragged it across the ground. Anywho, I'm going to attempt to fix the ecu myself and see what happens. If not then i got someone local who has one used. Any tips on soldering on a circuit board would be greatly appreciated. More updates later.
