2g MAF bad?

I was getting MAF overrun on the 1g maf. Installed a 2g. It was idling fine and I can finally rev the motor out. A couple of days later I'm getting air flow sensor error with my logger. And the car will not idle. Or it will idle then just die. Did I get a bad MAF?

Could be try another maf. If not check your wiring.

Is there anyway to test the MAF? I don't have any way of getting another without buying one. I wired the 2g plug to fit my 1g plug. On my SAFC it seems to be working driving fine other then idle. Could I have wired it wrong?
