So i got a pretty good deal on an 2g intake pipe with a 2g maf, and i see here reading threw threads on it, people have a tough time getting it too fit! I'm looking for someone that have done this, and what filter you had to use? I have a 91 with the flip up lights btw, not sure if this will get in the way of fitment or not!

Well i've done it in my 91 TSI and what ppl say is correct! It is a very very tight fit! I used one of those intake filter(Poweradder) from autozone. They are kinda bigger than usual i think but what i did notice was that the maf adapter kit you get for the filter to be able to fit on the maf adds a few inches onto the overall length, not to sure if you can cut the maf adapter a inch b/c thats like the right size for the filter to go on. It works pretty good but you just got to get a bottle of "lube" and get it in there! My flip up lights still worked and didnt hurt the filter or vis versa but its pretty easy and a very tight fit!

i think i read somewhere to get a 3000gt filter? do you have any idea if this will work?

i've never heard that, the typicl autozone filter will work but its just a sqeeze!

I cut out one of the support brackets to squeeze mine it, looks retarded but I already had it all wired up so I just said "screw it". :D

I'm more of an all-go no-show type of guy though.
