Hey everyone, I took my dash out today and I had a question on where to get the firewall blanket that starts at the foot area on both sides and wraps around the tabs on the brace that the dash goes on. The blanket I have is gross.

Not that I am aware of. You could try a stealership, but it would be unlikely they are available.

Wow, I have never seen that thread since I have been on here. Sorry about that.

I tried all of them anyways except like one and that is the place that has it.


Are you sure it is Part# MR148264?

If Mitsubishi calls it a "dash pad" then I'm pretty positive it's the right part number. You can always call your local/favorite Mitsu dealer, give them the part number, and have them verify what it is. Sometimes Mistu uses weird names for parts, but this one seems logical.

I somehow can't believe that only one site out of all of them who sell OEM parts recognizes the part number. JNZ and MitsParts for sure recognize it as I just tried it.


More proof for you. The PNC number in the 2nd image is the number pointing to the part in the first image.

Sorry about all the questions, I just didn't wanna order this and when it gets to my door open it and be like WTF.

You're going to be like W.T.F. looking at it anyway and it is the right part. To install it correctly you'll have to pull the pedal assemblies, HVAC, wiring harness, shifter cables, and the steering wheel just to name a few, oh, and of course the dash.

What happened to the one that you had installed on there in the first place, unless you removed it yourself?

It was destroyed and I needed a new one and come to find out, everywhere I looked can't get it.
