2g head on a 6bolt

Are there any benefits to using a 2G head on a 6bolt block? I'm basically looking to do a 6bolt swap over the winter and don't want to break the bank building everything because I'm not looking to push over 400hp - just going to install an EVO III 16G turbo and enjoy the car as much as I can but I want the 6bolt bottom end.

If I go with my current 2G head, can I just replace the valve springs and put the HKS 264/272 combo on it or should I get new valves, retainers, etc too?

1. The FIAV that liquid told me to buy is great, i highly recommend it.

3. I personally have a 2g head with crower springs, ti retainers, crower valves and valve guides, with a stock pair of 1990 cam shafts and i love it. You can install the cams but upgrading is recommended, what are you trying to rev too?
