2g head on a 6bolt

would a 2g head on a 6 bolt change the compression any...or better yet does anyone know what the compression would be. i have a 6bolt shortblock with 6 bolt rods and pistons with a 2g head. just curious i guess as to what anyones guess at compression would be. thanks

Heads have the same CC dome size so the compression won't change. What your compression will be is based on what pistons you run. If your running 6 bolt rods and pistons they are 7.8:1 compression so thats what you will be at. If you run 2g pistons it's 8.5:1. You can play around with cometic gaskets to change that.
 
i know that the pistons are different..and i know that the heads are alittle different but i didnt know whether or not they we're the same cc or not so i figured that i would just ask. thanks.
