2g head on a 1g block

i know the 1g head is the best block to have on a Dsm, But i got a 2g head perfectly new from the dealers. And i was wondering what would i need to do or have to put the new head on the 1g block.

Last time I checked the head and the block are two different things, but anyways, just port the 2g head before you put it on.

..Agreed. -Any of the 1G/2G 7 bolt heads came with 11mm head bolts vs the early 1G 6 bolt heads that had 12mm bolts. -You will need to have the head bolt holes opened up a lil'bit.
