1g head on a 2g block need help

i just put a 1g head on my car, i changed out the thermostat hosing and the front water pipe, but there are no ports to go to the oil filter housing, can i just eliminate water going to that or is that a bad idea or maybe someone has a better solution please help

I would leave some sort of cooling to the oil filter housing. So be it air exchanger or water.
