2g head on a 1g block

will a 2g head fit a 1g block i have a brand new 2g head on my 97 gsx and just got a rod knock on my 7bolt i am switching to the 6bolt and want to keep my 2g head

Yes you can but you should really check out magnusmotorsports.com 1G into 2G.

Yes you can. You will need to bore out the head stud passagese to fit the bigger 6-bolt hardware but besides that, its a bolt on.
