swapped from a 97-99 trans/ t-case to a 95-96 trans/t-case.. just wanted to make sure that I dont need a different half-shaft to match.

Its not different. I have, at this point, ran a 97-99 t-case and trans, blown it up. then ran a 95-trans and tcase.. didn't like the welded c/d.. and then switched back to the original 97 t-case with a different 97 trans. all using the same half shaft.I just reread this. I dont think I'm right. Originally I read tcase which doesn't matter. OP changed trans and tcase. 95 96shaft is definitely different than 97 up.
I had to swap half shafts. I am selling the shaft I couldn't use on the classifieds. I wonder why I had to but Gandalf didnt... What did I miss?
