Cause I waited for about 3 weeks for a company to ship out my parts, while I was waiting I ended up putting car back together fwd and running it at the track on slicks.

Car went 11.39 @ 128 mph on a stock fwd trans, open diff, and stock axles. I think it has a 10 sec fwd pass in it, just need a little more practice on slicks.

I had a ton of fun fwd, so I think im just gonna keep it that way.

hey can u post up some pictures of how ## engine bay looks. maybe on your profile. i really want to get 500hp on my eclipse but i just thought it would run faster than 11's.. do you race v8's and have you topped it out yet?

+1 on some pics, I'm about to change to an HX-35 mainly looking for spool times. I've been battling the FWD demon for a long time (had my gst for 11 years now ) And at times i've been just ready to up and AWD swap as well, but after blowin a trans when i needed a car for work and buying a stage 2.5TRE w/ Quaife lSD diff I've honestly come to love my FWD and getting out of controll till the end of third when i get 4th gear traction, so i hope this year to get my turbo, tweak the tune and get some new slicks and see if i can get in the low 11 (or really high tens at this poit in time) and get booted for not haing a cage I'll both be happy, and have something i HAVE to do to motivate some fab work.

WEre you baby'ing the launch and shifts or what because i would suspect that much HP could produce way better ET's but your MPH doesn't indicate too much wheel spin ( I use to roast 26'' slicks all through 2nd on a stock peg-leggin' trans ) best i did was over 6 years ago now and that was 12.08 @ 119mph on 20psi 16g, race gas and a good safe tune.... I should smoke that now )

well, would love to see some pics of the engine bay and what not as well as some more info on how you drove, launched and so forth (size and brand of slicks would be nice too)

I just love to see FWD'ers stickin it out and enjoying the crazy battle that is driving an insanely overpowered FWD street/strip car when your WFO on the pedal!

great numbers on both the dyno and track, i applaud your efforts!!!
