So the car is on the ground after 4 months. The engine started the first time, then drove it around the block. Thats when the shit hit the fan.

The day after I drove it for the whopping 300yards, the dome lights, windows, locks, top, buzzer all stopped working. Later after troubleshooting found that the if the headlights were turned on with a door open, the headlights and only the headlights would stay on until the door was closed.

Today I tore everything apart under the driver dash.

This is where I found the massive amount of shenanigans....

What is this fuse for? 7.5amp blade fuse in it.

This was on the clutch switch, to bypass the clutch needed to start the car. Pretty good idea considering the rest of the bs.

At this point I disassembled the fuse box/ETACS-ECU...

So as most of you can see there is corrosion on the plug on the ETACS-ECU, on bottom of the ETACS-ECU board, and on the fuse box itself on the left relay connectors hardcore and at the bottom. Now the fuse box is made of three layers plastic with some insane engineering involved metal connectors. So who knows if within the layers if there is corrosion or not, I'm not taking it apart.

Pics of the ETACS-ECU below, hit the pic quota...

thats trerrible bro at least you figured out what the deal was

I had a wiring mess like that when I first bought my car. It was because the previous owner didn't have the splash guard in the wheel well on the front driver side. It corroded the fuse box and obd2 plug somehow. At that point I brought it to a shop to have all the electrical work re-done under there. It wasn't a pretty bill but electrical is one thing I don't trust myself doing.

That is the same reason that mines fubar'd... No driver fender liner.
